Senior Spotlight: Hallie
Oh, senior portraits in Greece? No big deal!
It was the opportunity of a lifetime.
When Dawn told me about her trip to Europe with her daughter Hallie, I was only slightly jealous. Paris? Warsaw? Madrid? Sign me up! It wasn’t until she told me they were also stopping a few days in Santorini that my ears perked up like a dog hearing a wrapper crinkle.
“Why?” I asked.
“Well, Hal asked me to take her pictures in Greece.”
“I wanna take Hallie’s senior pictures in Greece!”
“Well…join us!”
I looked into my schedule. My budget. Flights. Oof. From Detroit it was $3k. Chicago? $2300. Dawn mentioned they got a great deal flying out of Toronto.
“I heard that! Let me check.”
Folks. It was $700. The flight from Athens to Santorini to fit my time? $200. I know I was on a tight budget. But come ON. How could I pass that up? So I flew to meet them. Had a fun adventure and, of course, incredible photographs. Barely any editing required.
