I’m a 2006 graduate from Northern Michigan University with a degree in photography and art education. Which means I am a teacher by day, and a photographer/tutor/writer/painter on the side. I’m a reader, always caught in the middle of at least five books. I’m a published writer (short stories, mostly), and I’m still working on getting that novel of mine published (I still have at least 50 more rejections to go until I’m advised to give up!). I’m a cat mom (two Maine Coon mixes–over 33 pounds of love and fluff between the two!). I’m a runner (recent marathoner…I never would have expected that out of myself!). I’m a bit of a Potterhead, Gilmore Girl, and Disney geek.

What I’m probably most known for is my addiction to travel. I think the most common question I’m asked is, “Where are you traveling to next?” I’ve visited over 10 different countries and I’m always adding more to my bucket list. Next up is New Zealand this June! Stay tuned for some photographs of my many excursions.
